PNA Commentary:  Managing & Security Virtualization Assets

The proliferation of a virtualized infrastructure has proven to be both a blessing and curse to conscientious operation managers. It’s a blessing in the dividends realized with successful efforts to dramatically improve utilization levels and infrastructure flexibility while maintaining, if not improving, throughput performance without adding staff. It is a curse with the new, critical challenge of managing something that has no tangible existence. Or, as Reflex Systems puts it – ‘You can’t Manage What You Can’t See.’
